Former White House aide to former President Donald Trump, Peter Navarro, has reported to a federal prison in Miami, making history as the first Trump White House official to be incarcerated. Navarro was found guilty Thursday of contempt of Congress charges for refusing to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Navarro was convicted Thursday of criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th attack. He was sentenced to four months in prison.
