In a rematch of the 2016 gold medal game, the United States men's basketball team once again emerged victorious over Serbia in their 2024 Paris Olympics opener. Led by strong performances from Stephen Curry and Bam Adebayo, Team USA cruised to a 105-79 victory.
Curry poured in a team-high 24 points, while Adebayo added 17 points and dominated the boards. The United States shot an impressive 52% from the field and held Serbia to just 39% shooting.
The victory improves Team USA's record to 3-0 in its five-game Group C schedule. They will next face Kevin Durant, who will be making his Olympic debut after coming off the bench against Serbia. The game is scheduled for July 28, 2024 at 10:55 AM EDT and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
