Columbus High football team set to travel to Lincoln for a game against Fremont
The Columbus High football team will be traveling to Lincoln this Friday to take on the Fremont Tigers. The Discoverers are coming off a 35-14 win over Grand Island last week, while the Tigers are coming off a 28-21 win over Lincoln Southeast.
Columbus High is led by quarterback Ashton Laudick, who has thrown for 1,039 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Laudick also leads the team in rushing with 523 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Fremont is led by quarterback Tristan Alvano, who has thrown for 1,357 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. Alvano also leads the team in rushing with 567 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Scotus Central Catholic football team set to host Aurora
The Scotus Central Catholic football team will be hosting the Aurora Huskies this Friday. The Shamrocks are coming off a 31-14 win over Seward last week, while the Huskies are coming off a 35-14 win over York.
Scotus Central Catholic is led by quarterback Aidan Bouc, who has thrown for 912 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Bouc also leads the team in rushing with 456 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Aurora is led by quarterback Braxton Sehnert, who has thrown for 1,234 yards and 13 touchdowns this season. Sehnert also leads the team in rushing with 487 yards and six touchdowns.
